Elior India - the standalone food services company and part of France based Elior Group, a global player in the contracted food and support services industry caters to many Fortune 500 companies across India.
Google, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, Cognizant, LinkedIn, Ashok Leyland, Visa Master, Daimler, Pfizer, Cisco, MRF, Vellore Institute of Technology, Larsen & Toubro, Panasonic are some of the companies Elior India provides meals to. And it’s not your usual desi lunch of roti and sabzi. Elior India says that companies are paying up to Rs 600 per plate.
Sanjay Kumar, CEO & MD, Elior India tells ET Panache, “The level of food sensitivity is evolving rapidly at various workplaces, and the fact that Indians are used to consuming fresh food is an additional opportunity disguised as a challenge for us.”
So what goes into a Rs 600 plate? Kumar says, “The food platter is entirely dependent on the client’s demand. There can be a salad bar with handpicked vegetables, both local and exotic, there can be a barbeque counter serving freshly-grilled appetizers, continental, and more. These premium services are of a great value proposition to employees in top corporates.”
